The selection criteria for participants:

The individual criteria are meant to ensure the quality of participation of each representative to the workshops and to the plenary sessions:

    • expertise on the subjects discussed;
    • sound interest for the dialogue between China and Europe;
    • degree of involvement in the workshop since the end of the second biennial.

The collective criteria aim at ensuring that the group of representatives reflects the diversity of the Chinese and European societies:

    • diversity of geographical origin;
    • diversity of socio-professional status in the thematic workshops;
    • balance of sex and age.

These criteria are implemented by the Chinese and European workshops’ prime movers and in coordination with the organizers. The selection process of representatives is public. The number of representatives of the workshops may vary and will depend on the financial resources which will have been raised.

The organizers will provide appropriate means for at-distance work via internet or by video conference. (more info)
