EURAXESS Links China- Linking European and Chinese Researchers
The first EURAXESS - Linking Researchers Worldwide was held on 15 November 2012 at the Regent Beijing Hotel. The one-day long briefing and parallel workshops opened a gateway to European research for Chinese researchers.
Over 100 participants from China, France, Germany, Denmark, Ireland, Netherlands, Spain, United Kingdom, Pakistan and United States attend the meeting, including officials, researchers, and representatives from industries, enterprises and NGOs.
Ambassador Markus EDERER, delegation of the EU to China, delivered the welcome message and promoting science as engine of growth.
Ms Lily BAI and Ms Denise LAI, representatives of China-Europa Forum, attended the conference and discussions.
EURAXESS Links China, sponsored by the European Commission, is a networking and information tool for European researchers active in China and for Chinese researchers interested in collaborating with European research.

EURAXESS Rights: information regarding the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers, which aim at setting out rules and obligations of researchers, their employers and funders, as well as transparent and fair recruitment procedures through the Human Resources Strategy. Besides, information about Entry conditions as well as social security and pension.
EURAXESS Links: a network for European researchers abroad, thus far launched in USA, Japan, China, India and Singapore. Expansion in Brazil and Canada is envisaged before the end of 2014.
